Bowling Green, KY – For the first time in his career, Collin De Julio was named Mid-South Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

The Folsom, CA native made an immediate impact in his debut for the Patriots, capturing the individual title at the IWU Wildcat Twilight Invitational on Friday. De Julio crossed the finish line in 18:32.3 to take first place in the 241-runner field.

De Julio's performance helped lead Cumberlands to the team title as the Patriots finished first out of 17 teams. UC totaled 34 points, finishing 15 points ahead of runner-up Indiana Wesleyan.

The senior earns his first MSC Runner of the Week honor and becomes the first Patriot to receive the award this season.
