As a freshman (2022) … NAIA First Team All-American ... MSC First Team All-Conference … MSC Player of the Week (2/14) ... NAIA Ball Player of the Week... Started all 59 games he played in … Accumulated a .418 batting average which in the best on the team and in the Mid-South…  Recorded a team-high 92 hits, while leading the team in homeruns (19) and doubles (21), with 66 RBIs... The 19 homers also led the Mid-South... Drew 19 walks.... Notched 28 multi-hit games, including four with two or more homeruns and 5-5 game against Freed-Hardeman with two homers and a 4-4 game against Cincinnati-Clermont with two homers... Posted a .987 fielding percentage with 278 putouts, 37 assists, and 15 caught stealings...

Carlos Muniz … is an incoming freshman from Naranjito, PR and a transfer from Southwestern Community College. At SWCC, Muniz was two-time all-conference, Junior College 3rd team All-American ,and SWCC Male Athlete of the Year. Last season, he hit .399 with 17 doubles and 13 homeruns.
