As a sophomore (2022)... MSC Second Team All-Conference ... MSC Academic All-Conference... Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete... Started all 62 games... Hit .354 on the year with 86 hits and 61 runs scored... Tallied 25 extra base hits and 56 RBIs along with 5 stolen bases... Had 24 multi hit games, including a 4-5 with seven RBIs in a game against Pikeville, and a 4-4 game against Midway... Posted a .934 fielding percentage with 67 putouts ans 144 assists...

Raphy Almanzar… is a sophomore from Bonao, Monseñor Nouel, and is a transfer from Miami Dade College.Before coming to UC, he was a NJCAA Gold Glove winner at shortstop, and was a two-time all-conference winner. Last season he bat .242 with 10 doubles and 4 homeruns, and helped take his team to the JC World Series.
