Adam Morris finished his third season as the offensive coordinator for the Patriots after being hired in the spring of 2022.
In his third season, Morris and the offense averaged 25.1 ppg in route to a 5-5 overall record, and 2-4 in MSC play. The Patriots accumulated 311 yards per game, and scored 28 touchdowns (16 rush & 12 passing) on the year. Morris and the Patriots defeated #24 Lindsey Wilson College for the first time in 11 years.Â
In his second season, Morris and the Pats went 6-4 with the offense averaging 23.7 ppg and 288.4 ypg. UC earned a ranked win against #14 Reinhardt 20-19. His QB's averaged 138.7 passing yards per contest and finished with 10 passing TD's and a game-high 185 yards in their victory over Campbellsville. Rushing, Cumberlands had 400 attempts and 15 TD's. UC had six rushing TD's in their season opener against KCU and found the endzone four times from the ground against Faulkner. Morris had two All-Conference offensive players including Darius James and Curtis Lefore Jr.Â
In his first season UC went 5-5 while the offense averaged 21.3 ppg and over 225 ypg. The Patriots has a season-high 44 points against St. Andrews. They rushed for 247 yards against Union, and passed for a season-high 283 against #3 Lindsey Wilson. UC defeated the 11th ranked Geogretown Tigers 24-23 as well.Â

Morris comes to UC after spending the past nine seasons at NCAA DI Campbell University. He joined the Camels in 2013 as the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator before being elevated to the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator prior to the 2019 season. Morris has coached several notable players including Hajj-Malik Williams to a Freshman All-American & Big South Freshman of the Year honors in 2019 and Caleb Snead, who was a 20118 Freshman All-American receiver. He also coach several other all-conference recipients in his time at Campbell.
Following the 2020 season, Morris was selected to the American Football Coaches' Association 2021 35 Under 35 Coaches Leadership Institute.
Prior to joining the Camels, Morris spent a season as the offensive quality control coach at Liberty University after spending two seasons as the defensive and special teams quality control coach at Kansas. Morris began his coaching career in 2008 as a coaching intern with the Buffalo Bills. Â
Morris is married to his wife Carson, and the couple has two kids Belle and Hutch.Â
