Boston Bryant enters his seventh season as a coach on the Patriots Staff. Bryant began his coach career as a Graduate Assistant before being elevated to an Assistant Coach prior to the 2019 season. Over the past four seasons, Coach Bryant has been working with the defensive line.
Boston has been a key part of the Cumberlands defensive coaching staff that has garnered five defensive linemen earning MSC All-Conference honors. Over the past four seasons, Cumberlands had tallied 141.0 sacks and 357.0 tackle for loss. During the 2022 season, UC tallied 43 sacks, which ranked second in the MSC, and had 105 tackles for loss. Kumi Sarpong Jr. also became the Patriots career leader in sacks with 26.0, while is 38.5 tackles for loss ranks second in program history.
Boston was a Graduate Assistant in 2017 where the Patriots would finish 6-4 overall. During the 2017 season, Bryant's coaching responsibilities included inside linebackers, scout team, and film study.
Boston's parents are both athletic alumni of Cumberlands. His father David was a football player while his mother Pam Cobb was a softball player.
Bryant is a 2017 graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he was graduated with a degree in History with a minor in Government. While there, he was a four year player for Wofford and a two-year Captain.
Bryant is married to his wife Justice and the couple has two kids, Oakland and London.
