Jeremiah McKibben has been promoted to linebackers coach for Cumberlands in the spring of 2022. McKibben is entering his second season with the Patriots coaching staff after serving as a Graduate Assistant in 2021.
"It's great when you coach at a place you have so much love and admiration for," said McKibben.
McKibben was elevated to the linebackers job after spending the past season as defensive graduate assistant for the Patriots. In that season he assisted with the linebackers and the Patriots defense, which had three MSC all-conference selections a year ago. Cumberlands had 25 sacks and 15 interceptions a year ago.
Prior to joining the Patriots staff, McKibben was a four year player for the Patriots, playing in 37 games. He made 124 tackles, 49 unassisted tackles, and recorded 1.5 sacks. He also recorded 15.0 tackles for loss and was part of two Patriots team that advanced to the NAIA National Championship.
