Coach Castner just concluded his first season with the Patriots after being hired in summer of 2021. Castner works with the HB and tight ends as well as be a part of UC's strength and conditioning program.
In his first season on staff, Castner has helped the Patriots offense and tight-end group that accounted for 11 grabs, 78 yards and pair of touchdowns.
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Castner had a standout career for UC. Castner was a two-time MSC First All-Conference offensive lineman in addition to being named a NAIA All-American Honorable Mention in 2018. He played in 36 games over his Cumberlands career and was part of two Patriots team that qualified for the NAIA playoffs.
