Chace Witherow is in his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Patriots men's lacrosse team after joining the coaching staff in July 2025. Witherow is a UC alum that began his collegiate career with the Patriots.Â
Prior to UC, Witherow coached at William Penn for two years. In that role with the Statesmen, Chace served as the defensive coordinator and worked primarily with the defense. He also played a pivotal part of William Penn's recruiting. While there, William Penn made two NAIA Tournament Appearances, won the Heart of America tournament in 2024 & 2025 and was the 2025 Heart of America regular season champions. Â
Witherow was a player for the Patriots for three seasons before getting his coaching career started as a student assistant coach. Chace earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management from UC and was a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and a three-time AAC Academic All-Conference selection.  Witherow earned a Masters of Sport Management from William Penn.
Chace resides in Williamsburg, KY.
