Wyatt Durbin

Wyatt Durbin enters his first season as Assistant Coach and goalkeeper coach for the University of the Cumberlands Men's Soccer team. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete from Saint Francis University, Durbin brings a wealth of experience both as a player and a coach.

Originally from Richmond, Kentucky, Durbin developed his soccer talents early, playing for the U-16 and U-18 United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) teams at Shattuck St. Mary's. His playing career extended into the Premier Development League (PDL) – now known as USL League Two – with the Derby City Rovers and Reading United.

After his playing career, Durbin transitioned into coaching, specializing in goalkeeper development. He holds both a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) C License and a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Goalkeeping 1&2 Diploma.

Before joining the Patriots, he served as an Assistant Coach for the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) Racers from 2022 to 2024, contributing to the team's national ranking throughout the 2022 season. He also held coaching roles at Danville Locomotive (Ohio Valley Premier League U23) in 2023 and 2024, Centre College in 2021, where he helped lead the team to a conference championship and a National Tournament appearance, and Kings Hammer Bluegrass from 2020 to 2022.
