Led the team in batting average (.428), home runs (12), RBI (51), slugging percentage (.742), hits (68), and sacrifice flies (5)... Tied the single season RBI record and became the program's first NAIA All-American... Only struck out ten times in 159 plate appearances, defensively had the most assists with 139 along with 73 putouts for a fielding percentage of .934... Against Cleary went 2-3 with a home run and two runs scored for her season best four RBI... Went 3-3 at the plat four times and recorded 18 multiple hit games.

As a sophomore (2020) ... Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete ... Started in all 20 games of the season at shortstop. Led the team with a .444 average on 16 hits through the first 10 games at the Grizzly Open and Bear Creek Classic, totaling 21 hits and a .309 average at the end of the season. Stole two bases on two attempts, scored 10 times as a base runner. Led team with 13 RBI. Hit four times for extra bases including three triples and a home run against Webber. six games with multiple hits including 3-3 with one run and one RBI at Georgia Gwinnett, 3-3 with one run and two RBI against Grace, and 3-5 with two runs and three RBI in game two against Rio Grande. 

As a freshman (2019) ... MSC Freshman of the Year, MSC Gold Glove, First-Team All-Conference, NFCA Second-Team All-Region ... Started in all 53 game this season at shortstop ... Recorded a .348 average on 55 hits of 158 at bats, batting in a team-leading 40 runs ... Went a perfect three-for-three at the plate in game two against Shawnee State, tabbing three runs and three RBI as well ... Struck out only seven times (.044 percentage) while notching six sacrifice flies (team-high) and four sacrifice hits ... Boosted slugging percentage to .475 with 15 hits for extra bases including team-leading 11 doubles, three triples and a home run ... On the field, turned eight double-plays while making 89 putouts and 89 assists.

Anderson County High School
Named the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association Miss Softball for 2018 and TSCA All-State Team in 2018, both of which were the first for the history for Anderson County.

Daughter of Jeff and Vicki Sickau, Maddie is from Anderson County, TN… Chose UC because it is close to home and the fun environment.
