Morgan Jett

Morgan Jett is entering her fourth year at the University of the Cumberlands as an assistant coach for the Women's Basketball program.

Morgan is a 2016 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors of Science in Education while earning her Masters' of Arts Degree in Teaching P-12 Physical Education at Cumberlands in 2018. While at the University of Kentucky, Jett was a part of the women’s basketball team, serving as a manager for the program for four years. While working at UK, the Wildcats were selected to compete in the NCAA tournament all four seasons. In those four years, the Lady Wildcats advanced to the sweet sixteen twice and the elite eight once. As a manager, Morgan’s responsibilities included preparing all equipment and gear for the team and coaching staff. She also assisted with running drills in practice and breaking down game film. She gained first-hand coaching knowledge while attending every practice and traveling with the team on the road to every game.

Jett graduated from Fleming County High School in 2012 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. While at FCHS, she lettered in three different sports: basketball, volleyball, and softball, while leading these teams collectively to six district titles. During her senior year, she was named to the All-District teams for basketball and volleyball. 

Jett now resides here in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
