Connor Crawford is concluding his second year as the assistant volleyball coach after being hired in July 2018. Last season the Patriots went 17-13, including a 7-9 mark against the MSC. The Patriots posted a four set win over Georgetown, marking it the third time in program history UC defeated the Tigers.
In his first season, Crawford helped guide the Patriots to a 22-13 record, including a 7-7 mark in conference play. The Patriots had four Mid-South Conference All-Conference selections, six Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and 14 MSC Academic All-Conference recipients.
Crawford comes to UC after spending the past several years as the Head Coach of the Horizon Volley Club in Corbin, KY. Crawford spent three and half years at Bryan College where he played outside hitter and middle blocker for the Lions for two seasons. After completing his playing career Crawford stayed was a Volunteer Assistant Coach during the 2016 season.
Crawford graduated from Bryan with a degree in Secondary Math Education and is currently pursuing his Masters in Health & Human Performances at Cumberlands.
