Riveros earned the male athlete of the month honors after leading the Patriots to a 7-1 record on the month. The netted nine goals on the month, including scoring in seven consecutive games, and three game-winning goals to help propel the Patriots to second place in the MSC standings. The Asuncion, Paraguay native opened the month by netting the first goal in the 2-1 win over Freed-Hardeman, which was his first goal of conference play. He followed that up by notching his first of three game-winning goals when he scored in the 32’ against Bethel as UC earned the 1-0 win. Riveros tallied a pair of braces during the stretch against Pikeville and Georgetown, scoring the game-winning goal in both of those as well. The freshman capped of the month with key goals against Thomas More and Life to finish the regular season with 12 goals, an assist, and 25 points. Riveros seven game streak is the most since 2011 when Thiago Andrade netted a goal in six straight games, and is the most consecutive games with a goal scored in the Dakstats era. He is currently ranked fourth in the MSC in goals for a season.
