Allyson Grava earned athlete of the month honors after leading the Patriots with 123 kills, 55 digs, and eight aces over eight matches on the month. The Goodlettsville, TN native tallied double-digit kills in every match on the month, averaging a team best 4.55 kills per set, while a .319 attacking percentage. The junior opened the month with 15 kills, seven digs, and three aces in the win over Freed-Hardeman, before notching 15 kills on a career-best .520 attacking percentage against Bethel. Grava recorded a month-high three blocks to go along with 11 kills against Kentucky State as she chipped in 18 kills and nine digs against Campbellsville. The junior continued to be constant with a combined 37 kills over Cumberlands next three matches, all of which resulted in 3-0 victories. Grava capped off the month tying her career-high with 28 kills to go along with 11 digs in UC's 3-1 win over Lindsey Wilson. Grava's seven kills per set is a career-high for a four-set match as she helped the Pats post their first win in Columbia, KY since 2005.
