Talli Burgess earned athlete of the month honors after compiling a perfect 8-0 record with two saves over 11 appearances. The Crandall, GA native tossed a team-best 45.1 innings with 30 strikeouts and posting a 0.15 ERA.  Burgess closed out the month pitching 39.1 innings of scoreless softball, while scattering just 20 hits and holding opponents to a .175 batting average.  Burgess pitched a complete game shutout against third-ranked Georgia Gwinnett as part of the Patriots sweep.  The senior saw action in three games against Bethel earning two wins and a save in eight innings of work with nine strikeouts.   Burgess followed that up with a pair of shutout victories over Cumberland as she pitched 9.0 innings scattering just six hits.  The senior closed out the month with a pair of wins against Georgetown pitching a complete game in the 3-0 victory, before coming in relief for 3.2 innings in the 11-3 win.  Overall, Burgess has complied an 11-0 record with a 1.38 ERA and 48 strikeouts.  The Patriots have compiled a 31-4 record with a 12-0 mark in conference play.
