Ty Lehman earned athlete of the week honors after an incredible performance at the Pepsi Patriot Open. Lehman tallied a 5-0 record, including three wins over ranked opponents to win the 149 lbs. bracket. Lehman opened day earning two takedowns for a 6-3 decision over #21 Chase Pluhar of Indiana Tech. The junior followed it up with a 5-4 decision over Louden Stradling (Cleary) before he advanced to the semifinals with a win over #9 Victor Guzman. Lehman defeated #11 CJ Shadinger of Reinhardt with a 4-3 decision before closing out the tournament with a fall over Devin Griffen at the !:46 mark.
