Jayden Boelter earned athlete of the week honors after tallying five points, including her third multi-goal game of the season, in the Patriots win over Georgia Gwinnett. Less than a minute into the second half, the Hebron, KY native found Carola Fontan for a goal to put UC in front 1-0. Boelter added a goal of her own 36 seconds later. Later in the second half, Boelter split two defenders and put a well-placed shot into the back of the net for her third brace of the season. The junior has extended her streak of tallying a point in every match she has played in this season accumulating 14 goals and 35 points. The last goal was, Jayden’s 65th of her career tying her with Leslie Allred for career scoring lead, while she has also moved into second place with 154 career points.
