Katie Gomez earned athlete of the week honors after a dominating week at the Warriors Women's Open.  Gomez compiled a 5-0 record and outscored her opponents 45-2 on the weekend and won the 124 lbs. weight class.  She tallied four tech falls on the week opening with a 12-2 tech fall over Addison Saporito of Ottawa.  Gomez notched three straight tech falls over Sophie Sarver (Life), #14 Presley Anderson), and Anna Krejsa (Life) to advance to the championship match.  In the finals, Gomez matched up with third-ranked Joanna Vanderwood of William Penn.  Gomez tallied three points in the first period en route to a 3-0 decision.
