Samantha Tullar earned women’s athlete of the week after being named the MVP of the AAC Conference Tournament. She recorded 12 goals, 4 assists, and 16 draw controls in UC’s two games. Tullar began the week by netting seven goals and dishing out an assist in the 20-7 win over Reinhardt. Her final goal of the game also marked her 100th goal of the season, making her the first player in the NAIA to reach that feat. She followed that up by notching five goals, dishing out three assists, and scooping 10 draw control in title game against Georgetown. With the game tied at 15-15, Tullar dished an assist to Emily Heim to put the Patriots in front for good. She also tallied her 200th career goal in the win and helped the Patriots clinch an automatic berth to the NAIA National Invitational.
