University of the Cumberlands Athletics

Lea Kunstmann earned athlete of the week honors after an incredible performance at the MSC Championship.  The freshman pulled away from the field and clocked a winning time of 22:23.59 over the 6k course.  Kunstmann earned the win by almost 30 seconds to capture Mid-South Conference Runner of the Year and MSC Freshman of the Year honors.  Her performance also helped the Patriots capture their sixth straight conference title.
