Cincinnati, OH – Seven different Patriots netted at least one goal as the University of the Cumberlands women's soccer team defeated Cincinnati Christian 8-0, pushing their record to 4-0 for the first time since 1999.
 
The Patriots took early control of the game, scoring two goals in the first 20 minutes. Jenna Rockwell notched UC's first goal in the ninth minute. Ten minutes later, Sara Randez scored off a Laura Navajas pass. The Patriots remained in control of possession. In the 26' minute, Rockwell passed to Laura Navajas, who pushed the Patriots lead to 3-0. For the next 16 minutes, the Patriots kept the ball on the Eagles' defensive side of the field. In the 43' minute, Alexis Drier headed the last goal before half for a 4-0 Patriot lead.
 
The second half mirrored the first half with Patriots dominating. The Pats fifth goal came in the 54' minute off a CCU miscue that resulted in an own goal. The Eagles and Patriots went back and forth in possession for the next 12 minutes until the 66' minute when Hannah Truckenmiller netted her second goal of the season to extend the lead to 6-0. Rockwell and Alexis Kingsley scored the final two goals for the 8-0 win.
 
The Patriots outshot the Eagles 27-7 in the match, without allowing the Eagles to take a shot in the first half. Christie Funk and Kendal Bouchard combined for the shutout. Bouchard recorded four saves in the match.
