Bowling Green, KY – The UC Football program is currently continuing to ride a fantastic wave of momentum into their upcoming regular season finale this weekend. A 45-31 win over Thomas More last Saturday saw a number of Patriots put together near career-highs as well as put their team in position to make Senior Day an epic day. One Patriot had yet another outstanding performance this weekend against the Saints and for his efforts was honored by the Mid-South Conference.

Senior quarterback Josiah Robbins was named the MSC Bluegrass Division Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday. It is the second weekly award of the season and for the career of Robbins.

Robbins hurled the football for 304 yards and five touchdowns in a record-setting day on Saturday in UC's 45-31 win on Saturday. The senior tied a school record for most passing touchdowns in a single game, while setting three season records for the Patriots.  Trailing 10-3 in the second quarter, Robbins connected with Weston Hayes for a 17-yard touchdown pass to even the score.  Robbins caught fire in the second half connecting with Darius Young for a pair of touchdowns (62 yards and 59 yards), and Hayes for a five-yard touchdown to give UC a 38-17 lead.  The senior capped off his day by finding Brandon Stuckey in the endzone for a 30-yard strike to keep the eighth-ranked Patriots undefeated.  Robbins also set the season record for completions, touchdowns, and passing yards.

The eighth-ranked Patriots return to James H. Taylor, II Stadium on Saturday, November 16^th as they host the seventh-ranked Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson College in a battle for
the MSC Bluegrass Division Championship. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 PM with Senior Day festivities to be held pre-game.
