Bowling Green, KY – The 18^th-ranked Patriots women's soccer team had seven players garnered Mid-South Conference All-Conference recognition, announced at the MSC Women's Soccer banquet Wednesday night.
 
The Patriots had four players earn MSC First Team All-Conference honors including goalkeeper Nicole Panis, midfielder Shara Randez, and forwards Naira Lopez and Alba Lorca. UC also placed three players on the MSC Second Team All-Conference including Laura Navajas, Selena Barnett, and Emily Willoughby.

Lopez leads the team in goals and points, tallying eight and 18 on the season, respectively. The freshman also came up big in vital moments, including netting the golden goal as the Patriots knocked off Cumberland in overtime.  Lorca has scored five goals and notched four assists. She also has the highest shot percentage among regular starters at 0.267, and leads the team in game-winning goals with two.

Panis, Barnett, and Willoughby have all played vital roles in UC's backline that has limited opponents to 0.60 goals per game and eight shutouts. Panis has tallied 44 saves and ranks ninth in the NAIA for goals allowed average (0.54). Willoughby has netted a goal and three assists, in addition to defending for the Pats.

Randez earned her third straight all-conference honor of her career; her second straight first team all-conference honor. The junior has netted four goals and a career and team high six assists on the season. Navajas has played an integral role in the midfield and assisted the game-winning goal when UC took down then 19^th-ranked Cumberland 2-1 in overtime.

UC returns to action Thursday, November 7, when they travel to Bowling Green, KY for the first round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
