Bowling Green, KY- Cumberlands Junior, Martin Barbier earned Mid-South Player of the Week honors after winning all four of his matches this week.

On Saturday, the 13^th-ranked men's tennis took on (RV) Grace College where the duo of Eric Banoub and Barbier faced Milan Savic and Faricio Galvin in the #1 doubles match. The pair claimed victory over the Lancers 6-0 to maintain their perfect record. Second-ranked Barbier also earned the #1 Singles spot where he faced Max Rozas, winning that match 7-6, 6-3.

The following day, Cumberlands hosted (RV) Southwestern and the doubles team of Barbier and Banoub handedly defeated the Moundbuilders #1 doubles team 6-2. He went on to claim victory over David Moral-Tebar in the #1 singles match 7-6, 6-3.

Barbier has competed in the #1 singles and doubles spots in every match this season. He is now 8-0 in doubles matches and 7-1 in singles matches this year. This is his sixth career MSC Player of the Week honor.

The Patriots play again on Friday, March 20, when they host Shawnee State in their Mid-South Conference opener. The first serve is set for m.
