NAIA Men's Soccer Bracket
Kansas City, MO – For the third straight season, the UC men's soccer team is headed to the NAIA Opening Round. This year the team will be making the trip to Mobile, AL where they will be the #3 seed.
Cumberlands has an overall record of 11-5-3 and lost the MSC Championship game to Lindsey Wilson to garner an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament. UC will look to make a simlar run last year, whe they made it to the NAIA Final Site Quarterfinals.
In the Patriots' initial game, they will take on Columbia International Thursday, November 18 at 4:30PM ET. The Rams earned the #2 seed after being the Appalachian Athletic Conference Regular Season Champion, posting a season record of 16-2. One of their losses came in the AAC Quarterfinal match against St. Andrews. In the latest NAIA Poll, Columbia International was ranked #22.
If Cumberlands wins their first match then they will play the winner of Houston Victoria and Mobile on Saturday, November 20 at 6PM ET. Houston Victoria is the #4 seed in the Mobile bracket and finished the regular season with a 15-2-1 record. The Jaguars earned an automatic bid into the NAIA Opening Round by winning the Red River Conference Tournament championship. This is the third time in program history that the Jaguars have qualified for the opening round. They will face off against the #1 seed Mobile who finished the regular season with a 15-2 record. They garnered an at-large bid and this marks the 21
st time in program history that the Rams have qualified for the Opening Round.
The winner of the game on Saturday will then earn a spot at the NAIA Final Site set for November 30 in Decatur, AL.

Cumberlands is one of three Mid-South Conference teams to make the NAIA Tournament. Lindsey Wilson is the #2 seed in the Columbia Bracket and Cumberland U is the #3 seed in the Costa Mesa Bracket.
