Williamsburg, KY – With the regular season wrapped up the Patriots are looking ahead to the postseason. Last season UC made history at both the Mid-South Conference Tournament and the NAIA Tournament.

Cumberlands went 3-0 in the MSC Tournament to capture their first conference title since 1996. Patriots come into the tournament with the same seeding as last year, #3, which earned them a first round bye.

RANKINGS AND RECORDS
UC notched both individual and team records this season, ones they look to extend into the post season. The squad is currently riding a seven-game win streak, the program's longest regular season win streak since 2010. At this point last season UC won five games in a row, before winning six more in the post season.

Joel Drewery is not only the top assistant player this season, but in the Patriots' history. His 10 this season, give him 41 in his career. The 10 so far this year also tie the most the senior has dished out in a single season. Additionally, Drewery is the most capped player in the program's history with 88 games played.

Rodrigo Riveros was the leading goal scorer a season ago with 10 goals and he already has 11 this season. Nine of those goals have come in the last seven games, giving him the most goals score in consecutive games since the Dakstats era dating back to 2004.

REGULAR SEASON RECAP
Cumberlands has an overall record of 9-4-3 with a MSC record of 8-2-1 and are currently receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches' Poll. Three of UC's four losses were against teams who are ranked in the top-25.

UC has held their opponents scoreless in five matches this season, including three in their seven game win streak. Cumberlands has not lost a game since October 2 giving them a record of 7-1 in the month of October where they outscored opponents 19-11.

The team has tallied 31 goals this season and impressively have recorded 30 assists for almost a 1:1 goals to assists ratio. The team offense mentality rings true for the Patriots having 12 different goal scorers this season.

LOOKING TO THE POSTSEASON
With the opening round bye in the MSC Tournament, UC will begin their postseason run in the quarterfinals. The Patriots will have a tough task in their first game going up against Campbellsville Tigers. The two teams tied 0-0 back on September 28 in Williamsburg, KY.

The Tigers defeated Shawnee State 3-1 in the MSC Opening Round to get the quarterfinals against the Patriots. Since facing Cumberlands the Tigers are 5-4-1.

The Mid-South Conference Tournament is a single elimination format with the two teams in the finals earning an automatic birth into the NAIA Tournament. The semi-finals and finals will be played in Bowling Green, KY on November 10 and 12 respectively.

UC's match against CU will be played later today, Friday November 5 starting at 6PM. The game will take place at the UC Soccer Complex and will be live streamed on the UC Sports Network here.
