American Volleyball Coaches Association – Cumberlands Lily Chapman earns AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention, as announced on Friday afternoon.

The junior from Iron Station, NC led the team in kills notching 366 of them, while also adding 296 digs, 36 blocks, and 19 service aces this season. For the season, Chapman averaged a team-high 3.73 kills per set and 2.74 digs per set. She also notched 12 double-doubles and won first team all-conference honors for the second time. Also, during the season Chapman got her first career MSC Attacker of the Week honor in week 11. In that week, Chapman went on a tear notching three double-doubles, with 56 kills, 44 digs, five block, and two aces.

This season with her 366 kills, she exceeded the 1000 career kills mark and moved into the fourth place in career kills in Patriot's history, with 1231 kills. For her career, she tallied 857 digs, 140 blocks, 112 service aces, and 47 assists. She also moved into second place in career kills per set with 3.11, surpassing Marla Harris who sat at 3.1, for over 15 years.
