Bowling Green, KY – The third-ranked UC women's lacrosse team is coming off their fourth shutout in program history and on Monday two Patriots earned MSC Player of the Week honors for their performance.   Florence Andrieu earned the MSC offensive player of the week award, while Trinity Brown was named the MSC defensive player of the week.

Andrieu earned MSC offensive player of the week honors after recording nine goals, five assists, 14 points and six ground balls on the week.  She opened the week by tying her career-high with four goals and five points in UC's 18-2 win over ninth-ranked Georgetown.  The Cooper City, FL native scooped three ground balls and netted consecutive goals, including the game-winner to put the Patriots in front 3-1, five minutes into the first half.  Andrieu followed that up with another career performance as she tallied five goals, four assists, nine points, and three ground balls in Cumberlands win over Thomas More.  The five goals and nine points were both career-highs for Andrieu.

Brown notched her second career MSC defensive player of the week award after tallying 18 draw controls, eight ground balls, and four caused turnovers in UC's two games.  Brown flew all over the field against the Tigers accounting for seven draw controls and four ground balls.  The sophomore  versatility continued to be on display against Thomas More as she scooped a career-high 11 draw controls  to go along with a career-high three points.  Brown also added four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the win.

The Patriots are now 7-0 on the season and 2-0 in MSC play.  UC has won 15 straight games and 23 straight at home.
