Team and Individual Standings

Athens, Ala - After carding a final round score of 68 (-4), Carlee Shoemaker took first place at the Union University Spring Bash on Tuesday. As a team, the Patriots shot a three-round score of 906 (+42) to secure a second-place finish in the tournament. With their podium finish on Tuesday, Cumberlands has now earned a top-three finish in all seven of the tournaments they played in this season. 
 
Over 54-holes at the Union University Spring Bash, Shoemaker shot a score of 214 (-2) to earn first place on the individual leaderboard. During Tuesday's final round, the junior secured a team-high five birdies. Shoemaker's tournament win is her four of the season and seventh of her career. With the victory, Shoemaker passes Laura Tipton to take sole possession of third place on the Patriots all-time wins list. With two tournaments remaining this season, Shoemaker is just one win away from tying Liz Stephens for second all-time at UC. 
 
Viviane Braun clubbed a score of 77 (+5) during Tuesday's final round to finish eighth overall on the individual leaderboard. Across 54-holes at Canebreak Golf Club, Braun recorded a score of 228 (+12) to find a spot in the top-10. Braun's performance at the event earns her top-10 finishes in sixth out of Cumberlands seven tournaments this season. 
 
True freshman Sharon Holczer found herself in the top-15 after she shot a final round score of 77 (+5). Over three rounds at the event, Holczer noted a score of 232 (+16) to finish 13^th overall on the individual leaderboard. In her three tournaments with UC this Spring, Holczer has secured three top-15 finishes. 
 
After shooting identical scores through the first two rounds, Hannah Griffith and Lucia Pena both earned top-20 finishes on the individual leaderboard. During round three on Tuesday, Griffith clubbed a score of 75 (+3) to finish 16^th overall. Pena shot a final round score of 76 (+4) to earn the 18^th overall spot in the tournament. 
 
The Patriots will be back on the links on Monday April 19, as they battle in the Mid-South Conference Spring Classic.
