Ypsilanti, MI - The University of the Cumberlands women's golf team capped off its season Friday with a fifth-place finish at the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship at Eagle Crest Golf Club. The Patriots posted a three-round total of 927 (+63), marking the program's first top-five finish at the national championship since 2019. Atchariya Thanaudomkul and Jasmine Points each earned NAIA All-Tournament Team honors with top-15 individual finishes.
Thanaudomkul led the Patriots during the final round, carding a 75 (+3) to finish tied for 11th overall at 230 (+14) for the tournament. She totaled four birdies across the three-day event to secure All-Tournament Team recognition.
Points also earned All-Tournament Team honors after finishing tied for 15th overall at 231 (+15). She recorded a 78 (+6) during Friday's final round and paced the Patriots with five total birdies during the championship.
Ainslee Cruce narrowly missed a top-15 finish after concluding the tournament tied for 18th at 232 (+16) overall. Cruce totaled six birdies throughout the championship, the most among all Patriots golfers.
Ginevra Capo finished tied for 48th overall at 238 (+22) after carding a 78 (+6) in the final round, while McKenzie Trautman placed tied for 56th at 241 (+25) overall.
The Patriots advanced to Friday's final round after entering Thursday in sixth place overall, ultimately closing the tournament with one of their best national finishes in program history.
SCAD-Savannah claimed the team national title at +55, followed by Dalton State (+56), Keiser (+58), Indiana Wesleyan (+62), and Cumberlands (+63).
