NAIA Coaches' Poll: 5

Kansas City, MO- For the third straight week the Cumberlands Patriots women's soccer team holds the fourth place standing in the NAIA Coaches' Poll with 452 points. Since the latest poll, the Patriots played two conference matches against Georgetown and Shawnee State.

Cumberlands 4-0 victory over Georgetown tied their season-high for goals scored in a single game, that they had previously set in their opener against Truett McConell. UC recorded four goals in the first half of the game, then let their defenders work against the Tiger offense to secure their sixth shutout of the season.

In their second match of the week, the Patriots faced off against the Shawnee State Bears. UC won the game 2-0 after a brace from sophomore Jayden Boelter. The Hebron, KY native recorded a brace in both matches this week putting her at 15 goals on the season and tied for 5^th in the NAIA.

Alongside a couple MSC wins, the Patriots offense had some record breaking performances. Laura Navajas, the programs assist leader tallied three additional assists after connecting with Boelter on three separate goals. As a team, the Pats brought in 20 points with six goals and eight assists.

UC's schedule continues to be one of the toughest in the NAIA as they set off to face #6 UT Southern, #14 Cumberland, #19 Lindsey Wilson and RV Campbellsville in the coming weeks. They remain undefeated with an overall record of 8-0—3, and 3-0-1 in MSC play.
