Coaches' Poll
Kansas City, MO – In the final NAIA Coaches' Poll of the 2022 season, the women's cross country team remain ranked 20^th, NAIA Officials announced Monday evening.
 
The Patriots are coming off their third straight Mid-South Conference championship. This year they scored 47 points to take home the title and were led by Freshman Emily Bird, who placed second overall and earned MSC Freshman of the Year honors.
 
Ashlyn Liddle and Victoria Richardson put together top-10 finishes as well, earning First-Team All-Conference honors alongside their teammate Bird. The next three UC finishers, Ashley Terry, Lauren Sanderson, and Nevaeh Warren, crossed the finish in the top-20 to earn a spot on the Second-Team All-MSC list.
 
Cumberlands remains the only team from the Mid-South featured in the top-25 poll. Thomas More, who placed second behind the Pats this past weekend, were receiving votes for the first time this season.
 
After their performance at the conference tournament, the team qualified for NAIA Nationals in two weeks. Raceday is set for November 18^th in Tallahassee, FL.
