Bowling Green, KY – The Patriots men's swimming and diving team continues to excel in both the water and the classroom as had a conference-best 11 MSC Academic All-Conference selections, the conference office announced Tuesday.  UC's 11 award winners is more than double the next closest team.

Leading the way for Cumberlands is Enzo Esteves, who has earned this honor in each of the past three seasons.  Gus Bourff, Nathan Souza, and Charles Wolfram are all multi-time recipients, while Peyton Berter, Jeremy Davis, Elijah Henry, Mikolaj Kala, John Morgan McDonald, Daniel Ruiz Ramis, Jakub Zaremba each garner there first academic accolade.

In addition to being named to the academic all-conference team, junior Elijah Henry was also selected as Cumberlands representative on the MSC men's swimming Champions of Character team.

To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 GPA and been enrolled in college for at least one year.

The Patriots will return to the water Thursday, February 3, when they travel to Kingsport, TN for the Mid-South Conference Championship.
