Williamsburg, KY- With just five days until their spring opener, the UC women's golf team looks ahead to start their 2022 spring season. Head Coach Aaron Watkins is entering his third year at the helm of the Cumberlands women's golf program; the team looks to continue to be successful on the courses and continue to raise the bar for the golf program.

The 2022 spring schedule is highlighted by four regular season tournaments and the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship taking place at the beginning of May.

The Patriots are set to open the spring season down in Myrtle Beach, SC for the Showdowns at Legends tournament on February 27 - March 1.

March will see UC competing in two more tournaments, with the first taking place in West Point, MS for the BMC Spring Golf Classic at Old Waverly. The tournament will be held on March 20 -  March 22. Cumberlands looks to repeat as tournament champions like the last time they competed in this tournament back in 2020. The Patriots then head down to Gulf Shores, AL the following weekend for the Carey Collegiate tournament taking place from March 27 – March 29.

UC then takes a week off before competing in their final regular season tournament of the spring. Cumberlands is set to head down to Crossville, TN for Spring Conference on April 10 – April 12. The Patriots are looking to repeat as Spring Conference Champions.

The final tournament of the Spring will put the Patriots in Bowling Green, KY on May 1 for the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship. Last season, UC took home the­­­ tournament title for the ninth straight season.
