Columbia, KY- Sharon Holczer, Maria Neira, Elena Hortian, Viviane Braun, and Emily Allen all finished within the top-ten to lead the Patriots women's golf team to a second place finish at the Blue Raider Invitational on Sunday afternoon. UC shot a combined three round score of 916 (+64) to finish just three strokes behind first place Lindsey Wilson.

Holczer led the way for Cumberlands with a second place finish overall on the individual leaderboard. The freshman clubbed a three round score of 222 (+9), which was just six strokes behind the leader. Over 54 holes at the Blue Raider Invitational, the Caracas, Miranda native tallied a team high eight birdies, to help lead her to her second straight top-ten finish. Her best rounds came during rounds one and three of the tournament, where she carded a 73 (+2) during both rounds.

Neira finished just one stroke behind teammate Holczer, to earn a third place finish on the individual leaderboard. Her best round of the tournament came during round one where she notched a 72 (+1) and was tied for first after the first round. Across three rounds, Neira carded a 223 (+10). This is the second straight tournament that the freshman has finished in the top-ten for the Patriots, and her fifth time overall.

Braun finished the Blue Raider Invitational in seventh place on the individual leaderboard. The senior's best round came during round three of the tournament, where she carded a 76 (+5). Over 54-holes, the Wegberg, Germany native tallied two birdies and 31 pars to lead her to her first top-ten finish of the spring season.

Freshman Emily Allen finished in the top-ten for just the second time in her young career at UC. Across three rounds in Columbia, KY, Allen shot a 237 (+24) to finish in ninth place on the individual leaderboard. The freshman's best round came during round two of the tournament, where she notched a 77 (+6) with a birdie and eleven pars.

Morgan Owens-Lewis was also a part of the top-five for Cumberlands. Across 54-holes at the tournament, the senior carded a 256 (+43) to finish in 20^th on the individual leaderboard. The Williamsburg, KY native notched 19 pars to help lead her to her first top-20 finish of the spring season.

Competing as individuals at the Blue Raider Invitational were Elena Hortian, Jordan Comer, Kaley Wells, and Riley Clark. Hortian led the way as an individual, finishing in the top-five on the individual leaderboard. The sophomore carded a 75 (+4) during round three to help lead her to her fifth place finish. This is the Mallorca, Spain native's first top-five finish of the spring.

Comer, who also competed as an individual, finished in 13^th on the individual leaderboard. Across 54-holes, the junior four birdies and 20 pars to help her finish in the top-15 for the first time this spring.

Clark finished in 17^th overall on the individual leaderboard, after notching a three round score of 249 (+36). The freshman's best round came during round one of the tournament, where she carded an 82 (+11). Wells finished just one place behind Clark on the individual leaderboard. The Annville, KY native recorded a three round score of 254 (+41) for her first top-20 finish of the spring.

Cumberlands is set to travel to Gulf Shores, AL next Monday and Tuesday, March 28 and 29, to compete in the Carey Collegiate.
