Kingsport, TN – Coming off a strong weekend in to close out the regular season, Patriots attacker Dylan Crouch has been named the AAC Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.  It marks the second time this season that the Trenton, OH native has garnered this honor as he becomes the first multi-time winner this season.

The senior closed out the year on a high note notching 15 points over UC's final two games and averaging six points per game on the week.  He opened the week with a goal and two assists in the first quarter as the Patriots set a program record for goals in a quarter with 12 against Point. Crouch followed that up by leading the Patriots with five goals and two assists in their come-from-behind win over (RV) Ottawa.  Trailing by three late in the opening period, Crouch netted a goal and added an assist to bring UC within one.  He netted two game-tying goals in the game including one at the 1:47 mark in the third quarter which sparked a five-goal Patriot run.

Against eighth-ranked Benedictine, Crouch tied his season-high with eight points, notching four goals and four assists in the win.  The Trenton, OH native got the scoring started with a transition goal three minutes into the game and aided Cumberlands to jump out to a 6-0 lead.  Crouch added three goals and an assist as part of a seven goal third quarter, which broke the game open en route to the 19-9 final.  It was UC's fourth win against a NAIA top-ten opponent this season.

Crouch leads the Patriots with 34 goals, 29 assists, and 63 points on the season.  He is ranked second in the AAC in points and assists this season, while ranking in the top-five in goals.  Cumbelrands is 10-3 on the year, making it just the third time in program history with at least ten wins in a season.

The Patriots will return to action Friday, April 15, as they host St. Andrews in the quarterfinals of the AAC Tournament. Live video of the game will be available here.
