Kansas City, MO- The Patriots women's golf team notched their second straight top-25 ranking of the season, after finishing in sixth place in their last tournament. Cumberlands notched a #24 ranking after receiving 106 voting points, announced by the national office on Friday.

In their last tournament back on March 29, Cumberlands tallied a three round score of 992 (+128), to finish in sixth place at the Carey Collegiate. Over 54 holes in Gulf Shores, AL, the Patriots carded a spring best 111 pars and 12 birdies to finish a few strokes ahead of seventh place.

Maria Neira. During her third round of the tournament, she carded an 85 (+13). The freshman started the day on hole three, where she recorded three back-to-back pars to start the day. Over the course of 54 holes, the Caracas, Venezuela native tallied 29 pars and two birdies to help her earn a share of 23
rd on the individual leaderboard.
Cumberlands is one of four Mid-South Conference teams mentioned within the latest NAIA top-25 coaches' poll. Cumberland University earned the highest ranking of any MSC team, coming in at #14. Lindsey Wilson earned 259 votes to come in at #17 in the poll, while Campbellsville fell to #20.
