Bowling Green, KY – Two days ahead of the Mid-South Conference Outdoor Archery Championships, the UC archery team had 16 archers recognized for their success in the classroom.   The 16 honorees are the most in program history.

Brooke Miller highlighted the recipients as the Patriots lone three-time winner of this award. 

Aaron Adams, Madison Cox, Elliott Cross, Bradley Faulkner, Hunter Larese, Brooke Miller, Hannah Moose, Amanda Newland, Kaitlyn Shields, Whitney Vandiver, and Clay Weaver have all earned this honor in back-to-back seasons.  UC also had five archers garner this accolade for the first time in their careers; Tanner Barker, Coby Hudson, Bailey Robinson, Kimberley Wheat, and Danielle Woodie.

In addition to earning Academic All-Conference honors, Amanda Newland and Elliott Cross were also named to the Mid-South Conference Champion of Character Team.

To be eligible for the academic all-conference teams each archer must be at least a sophomore and have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.  Across the MSC 56 student-athletes earned this disctinction. 

Cumberlands will look to capture their fourth MSC regular season championship this weekend.  Mixed team rounds are slated for Friday afternoon with the head-to-head and team rounds slated for Saturday at the UC All-Purpose Field.
