Bowling Green, KY - While the second ranked Patriots have been gearing up for the conference tournament, which is set to begin on Thursday, eight student-athletes are being recognized for their success in the classroom.

Four Patriots are garnering this award for the third time in their career.  Trinity Brown, Stephanie Meyer, Bella Ricchiazzi and Katie Wharton have earn this honor every year that they have been eligible.

In addition to those four Carolina Johnson, Rachel Leigh, Olivia McCarrell, and Brooke Ollerenshaw have received this honor for the second time in their careers.
Meyer was also named as UC's representative on the MSC Champion of Character Team.  The junior has been a captain for Cumberlands, while being second on the team with 37 assists.  Meyer has netted 32 goals, while tallying 23 caused turnovers and 38 ground balls this season.

UC will return to the field Thursday, April 21, as they are the top-seed in the north division and will face Webber in the quarterfinals.  The game is set for 11 a.m. with live video available here.
