Kansas City, MO – Looking to finish out his career on a high note, Patriots goalie Will Settle is in postseason form as he made 11 saves in Cumberlands AAC quarterfinals win over St. Andrews.  The keeper's performance for the third-ranked Patriots led to Settle being named the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Settle had an incredible day between the pipes finishing the game with a .917 save percentage and a season-high five ground balls.  he Huntingtown, MD native made six first half saves, including five in the second quarter to keep the Knights scoreless at the break.  Settle added five more saves in the third quarter, including two at point blank range, while he also notched a caused turnover. 

The senior has made 120 saves this season with a .600 save percentage on the year.  He has limited opponents to 6.69 goals per game, which is fifth in the NAIA.  Settle becomes just the second Patriot to be named NAIA Defensive Player of the Week twice in a season joining Dakota Lambing and his three NAIA weekly honors are the most in program history.

UC will return to the field Friday, April 22, as they travel to Waleska, GA to face second-seed Tennessee Wesleyan in the semifinals of the AAC Tournament.  The game is set to begin at 4 p.m.
