Kingsport, TN – Cumberlands men's lacrosse had four players earned AAC First Team All-Conference honors, while the Patriots placed five on the AAC All-Conference team, conference officials announce Monday.  UC is 12-4 on the season and finished as the AAC tournament runner-up.

Dylan Crouch, Dawson Coltran, Chrystian Coleman, and Jake Morgan are the first team selections, while Thomas Fogarty earned Second Team All-Conference accolades. The four first team selections are tied for the most selections in program history as it's the third consecutive year with four honorees.

Crouch earned first team all-conference honors for the second consecutive season after rewriting the Patriots offensive record books this season. The Trenton, OH has recorded 38 goals, 34 assists, and 72 points on the season as he is ranked third in the NAIA in assists and points.  Crouch has smashed the previous single season points record of 58, while he's the single season leader in assists and tied for the season lead in goals with Luke Wyatt in 2017.  The senior has tallied a season-high eight points three times this season, including tying the program record for six assists in a game in the win over fifth-ranked Columbia.  He has tallied at least three goals in a game five times and became the first Patriot with 200 career points as the grad student is the career leader in goals, assists, and points.

Earning AAC first team all-conference honors for the third time in his career, Morgan has been an anchor on the Cumberlands backline.  The junior leads the NAIA with 49 caused turnovers, averaging 3.1 caused turnovers per game. In addition to the caused turnovers, Morgan has scooped 67 ground  balls, which is sixth most in the AAC this season.  The lockdown defender has anchored the UC backline that is sixth in the NAIA limiting opponents to 7.10 goals per game and leads the NAIA in caused turnovers.  Against Tennessee Wesleyan, Morgan became the Patriots career leader in caused turnovers with 152, while he is currently ranked second in program history in ground balls.  He has tallied multiple caused turnovers in nine games this season.

Coltran notched first team all-conference honors for the first time in his career as he has tallied 24 goals, 12 assists, and 36 points.  He ranks fourth on the team in all three of those statistical categories and has brought depth and balance to the Patriots attack.  Coltran has been a vital part of the Patriots offense that has averaged 14.63 goals per game, which ranks fifth in the NAIA.  He notched a season-high five points in the AAC Championship game against Reinhardt and has posted seven multi-goal games this season.   

As one of Cumberlands breakout stars this season, Coleman tallies his first all-conference accolade.  The sophomore has tallied 45 ground balls, 24 caused turnovers, and notched seven points on the season.  Coleman has been a key part of the faceoff unit and UC's clear game, which cleared at 83.9% this season.  Coleman is second on the team and fifth in the AAC in caused turnovers as he has tallied a season-best three caused turnovers in a game five times.  On three occasions, the sophomore scooped six ground balls in a game.

Fogarty tallied all-conference honors for the first time in his career after being named to the second team.  The Farmington, MN native has recorded 39 goals, breaking the single season record for goals in a season, while dishing out 30 assists, which is the second most assist in a singles season.  Fogarty has notched 69 points this season, which is a career-high for the senior as he has 167 career points and became the second Patriot to clip the century mark in goals.  Fogarty tied his career-high high with nine points in the win over SCAD and has averaged 5.25 points per game over UC last four games.

The Patriots are awaiting the NAIA selection show for the 2022 National Invitational, which is scheduled to be released on Sunday, May 1.
