Williamsburg, KY – The Cumberlands women's swimming & diving team had another strong season winning the Mid-South Conference championships and posting a top-five finish at the NAIA National Championships.  Their success came in part of a plethora of swimmers that have shined on both the conference and national stage as the Patriots had ten swimmers and divers combine for 29 CSCAA All-American honors.  UC had 25 First-Team All-American accolades and four Second-Team All-American honorees.

Leading the way for UC was Maria Basto and Hanne te Velthuis with seven All-American swims apiece.  Basto broke the school record in the 100 back, touching the wall in 56.00, while the duo of Basto and te Velthuis were both part of UC's record breaking 400 free relay and 800 free relay.  Basto earned first team honors for her 200 back and 200 IM as well as the 200 medley relay.

Te Velthuis posted three times that rank in the top four of program history in the spring freestyle events.  The sophomore notched first team honors in the 100 and 200 free, while being a staple on Cumberlands relays this season.

Ali Pecore garnered four All-American honors highlighted by the 500 free, where she captured the NAIA National title.  Anastasiia Shatalova was a part of two Patriot relays that earned first team honors, while she also finished eighth in the 100 free.

Emma Lehmkuhl and Rebecca Loftus each tallied a pair of CSCAA All-American accolades.  Lehmkuhl recorded a pair of top-five finishes during diving, while Loftus was a key member of the Patriots sprint relays.

Riley Cerqueira, Kayana Cook, Isabella Cooksey, and Leah Thomas each finish with an All-American accolade.

The Patriots had the fourth most All-American honors out of the NAIA.  The All-Americans were chosen based by their results at nationals with the top eight individuals and top four relays being named First Team All-Americans, while relays placing fifth through eighth were Second Team All-Americans.
