The 2021-22 season for the Patriots Men's Wrestling Team finished at the National Tournament after UC finished the season with a 7-3 record and took home the Mid-South Conference North Tournament Title.

Two Patriots Earned All-American honors after their performance at the NAIA National Tournament.
Bryce Nickel finished in 6
th place in the 141-weight class, while
Aaron Johnson finished in 3
rd place in the 285-weight class.

UC had 10 NAIA Qualifiers which was the 6
th most from any school in the NAIA this year. The 10 qualifiers were

Gabe Jacobs finished the season with 19 falls, which was the most by a Patriot this year. With the 19 falls, Jacobs finds himself in first place in Patriots Wrestling history in single-season wins by fall.

Two Patriots took home individual titles at the MSC North Conference Tournament, while five others were runners-up.
Bryce Nickel took home the 141 title and
Aaron Johnson took home the 285 title.

Six Patriots finished the season with 20 or more wins this season.
DeVaughn Sapien tallied 21,
Bryce Nickel recorded 24,Â
Chasen Brown had 25, and
Harold Gilmore came away with 21.
Gabe Jacobs totaled 29 wins, as
Aaron Johnson came away with 23.

Before their postseason run, UC finished the regular season ranked 9
th in the NAIA, with four individual Patriots having a top-10 ranking.
