The 2021 season for the Cumberlands women's soccer team ended at the NAIA Final Site after earning a runner-up finish at the Mid-South Conference Tournament. The team finished with an overall record of 16-6-2.

THE YEAR IN NUMBERS

After winning the Siloam Springs opening round, hosted by John Brown University, Cumberlands advanced to the NAIA Final site in Orange Beach, AL for the second straight season.

Jayden Boelter had a breakout second year as a Patriot, notching 18 goals on the season. Her 18 goals put her tied for third in single season goals in the UC Women's Soccer record book.

UC finished the season ranked 10^th in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches' Poll after reaching the NAIA final site.

Seven Patriots recorded their first career goals in 2021. They were Alyson Barnes, Riley Barrett, Olaya Blanco, Rita Aguye Cots, Rylee Hardley, Irene Medina, and Matija Yocum and they combined for 11 goals.

A pair of UC Women's Soccer athletes earned First Team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. Laura Navajas Marin and Jenna Rockwell both garner the honors for the second and first times in their career, respectively.

As a team, Cumberlands notched 15 shutouts on the year. The 15 shutouts for a single season ranks first all-time in the UC Women's Soccer record book.

After an outstanding second season with the Patriots, Jayden Boelter received NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. This marks just the second time in program history that a Cumberlands Women's Soccer player has received NAIA All-American honors for the second time her career.
