Williamsburg, KY - The UC men's lacrosse team reached the semifinals of the NAIA National Invitational for the fourth consecutive year, while finishing the year with their highest final ranking in program history.   The 2022 Patriots set a plethora of individual and team records, shattering offensive milestones, and tying the program record with 13 wins on the year, while going 5-2 in AAC conference play.  

THE YEAR IN NUMBERS

Cumberlands closed out the season ranked third in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.  It was their highest final ranking in program history as the Patriots advanced to the national semifinals for the fourth straight year.

UC set four program record for a single season.  Thomas Fogarty netted 48 goals and 80 points, while Dylan Crouch dished out a career-high 35 assists.  Will Settle made 175 saves on the year, recording double-digit saves 11 times.

The Patriots had five AAC All-Conference selections.  Chrystian Coleman, Dawson Coltran, Dylan Crouch, and Jake Morgan were first team selections, while Thomas Fogarty was a second team honoree.

The Patriots posted eight wins over teams that were ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.  Four of those wins came against top-five opponents, including a 10-4 win over #2 Keiser.

The trio of Dylan Crouch, Thomas Fogarty, and Christian Vanover accounted for 53.1% of the Patriots record setting offense.  The trio notched 129 goals, 90 assists, and 219 points on the season.

For the third time in program history the Patriots recorded 13 wins on the season.  This year's squad posted a program record seven wins at home.

  Jake Morgan forced 52 caused turnovers on the season to give him a program record 174 for his career. Morgan was 
  ranked in the top two of the NAIA in caused turnovers for the third consecutive season and earned First Team All-
  American honors.
