St. Louis, MO – Cumberlands traveled to Washington University for their Distance Carnival on Friday afternoon. Multiple strong performances in the 5k and 10k runs highlighted the day.
 
Kyle Woodward posted UC's highest finish of the day after placing eighth in the 10K. The senior clocked a 33:01.23 time. He was followed by James Overholser who finished just three spots behind for 11^th out of the 48 total finishers. Overholser crossed the finish line in 33:32.28.
 
The Patriots also saw a top-10 finish in the 5,000m run on Friday. Ludovico Vaccari ran a 15:29.81 5k for ninth place overall. Noah McClellan finished right behind him in 15:30.77 for 11^th. The final Patriot to cross the finish line was Caleb Rigney who placed 24^th with a 15:47.10 finish.
 
Cumberlands are finished competing in St. Louis, but will send their throwers and jumpers to Danville, KY tomorrow for the Centre College Invitational.
