Box Score Williamsburg, KY - The 19th-ranked Patriots men's tennis team looked dynamic during their home match against SCAD-Atlanta. UC moves to 6-2 on the season as they shut out the Bees 7-0.

Doubles play set the tone for the rest of the match as the Pats achieved 1-0 advantage. Cumberlands' #3Â duo of
Mattis Le Montagner and
Juanchi Alcon were awarded a forfeit win, setting the Pats ahead. Hung-Ju Wu and
Martin Muller played as #1 duo and dispatched of Kamran McIntosh-Ross and Evan Ward in a convincing way, winning 6-4 to clinch the doubles point.

The number two duo of
Max Nijssen and
Sjoerd Nijssen followed suit, disposing of Zavier Almasher and Trevor Pacera to complete the doubles sweep.

Hung Ju Wu was awarded a forfeit, extending the Patriots 2-0 lead early in singles play.
Christian de la Fuente Nodado got things started for the UC at the #3 spot with a win over Augustya Sharma in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.

After dropping the first set 6-2, Muller took the second 7-5 to force a decisive third, which he won 6-0, clenching the match for UC. Following this,
Mattis Le Montagner earned a win at #1 singles. After an exchange of points, Le Montagner took the match in straight sets 6-4, 7-6, and extended the lead 5-0.

UC continued to pour it on from there winning the final two matchups of the day to earn their fourth straight win.
Quentin Villetorte played at the four spot, where he controlled the match from the beginning and defeated Trevor Pacera in two sets 7-5, 6-1.
Lucas Augotr finished out the afternoon with a win at #5 singles over Evan Ward. After an exchange of points, the freshman took the first set 6-2, before finishing the match with 6-0 win in the second set, making him 8-0 on the season.

Cumberlands will be back to the courts on this weekend as they travel to open conference play against Bethel on Friday March 10th, before heading to Freed-Hardeman on Saturday the 11th.
