Caden Petrey led the way, going 2-4 with two homers and three RBIs. Evan St Claire had a great game going 4-5 while adding in a triple and four RBIs. Muniz tallied a solo homer and one RBI, while Arias added a double for one RBI.

Knicko Billings started on the mound and pitched 6.1 innings, scattering one run over three hits with three strikeouts. Dustin Sprong came in and got the Pats out of a jam in the eighth with two strikeouts. Then struck out the side in the ninth to give the Patriots the 13-5 victory.

After a scoreless first inning, Cumberlands scored two runs in the second to take the lead. St Claire led off the inning with a single toward the pitcher. Then, Ben Snapp followed with a fake bunt homerun over the left field fence for the 2-0 lead.

In the third, Muniz led off with a towering shot to left center to take the 3-0 lead. Reinhardt would get on the board, scoring one run in the fourth before the Pats answered with five runs in their at-bat. With one out, Ryan Shavers singled to center field. Petrey followed with his first home run of the day to go up 5-1. After a change of pitchers, Raphy Almanzar was walked. Two batters later, Arias notched a double to right field and Almanzar scored from first to take the 6-1 lead. Harper would then notch a two-run homer to break the single-season RBI record and take an 8-1 lead.

Later in the sixth, UC increased their advantage to nine after scoring two runs. With one out, Muniz got walked, and Arias followed with a single toward the shortstop. Both runners advanced on a groundout, and St Claire notched a two-RBI triple to center field to take the 10-1 lead.

A solo home run in the seventh from Petrey put the Pats up double figures, 11-1. In the top of the eighth, the Eagles scored four runs before Sprong came in and struck out two in a row to end the inning. The Patriots kept their bats going, notching two more insurance runs. Muniz led off with a single down the left field line then Arias got walked. Two batters later, both runners advanced on a wild pitch before St Claire singled to left field for two RBIs and the 13-5 lead.
