Louisville, KY – The UC Men's Bowling team closed the conference weekend with a tenth place finish out of 21 teams at the Thomas Burris Memorial tournament on Sunday. The Pats recorded three finishers inside the top-50 overall.
Cumberlands had a total pinfall of 5209 through four team games and eight baker games. UC knocked down 3819 pins in the team games, before knocking down 1390 in the baker games.
Liam McNamara led the way for UC and placed 22nd overall. The graduate student had a total pinfall of 819 through four games for a 204.8-pin average. McNamara started and finished strong with identical scores of 223 in games one and four.
Aidan Longo was the next best finisher for the Pats and placed 42nd overall. Longo knocked down 776 pins through four games for a 194-pin average. The sophomore's best score came in game four with 233 pins.
Austin Hale finished 45th with a total pinfall of 773 through four games for a 193.3-pin average. Hale earned his best score in the second game with 223 pins.
Noah Hall placed 77th overall, knocking down 710 pins through four games for a 177.5-pin average. His best score came in game three with 210 pins.
Cody Lumpkins knocked down 552 pins through three games for a 184-pin average to place 130th overall. The sophomore's best score came in game three with 207 pins.
The Patriots return to the lanes Saturday, February 15th for the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, IN.
