Indianapolis, IN – The University of the Cumberlands Women's bowling team turned in one of their strongest performances of the young season this weekend, finishing seventh out of 28 varsity teams at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout. The Patriots knocked down a total of 8,489 pins through six team games and 16 baker games. 

Kailee Blain led the way for UC, placing third out of 228 bowlers with a total pinfall of 1,274 across six games for a 212.3-pin average. Finishing just behind her in eighth was Paige Frantz, who knocked down 1,217 pins for a 202.8-pin average. 

Sienna Stoner continued her strong season, finishing 17th overall with 1,174 pins across six games for a 195.7 average. Allison Finn rounded out the Patriots' scoring with 848 pins over five games for a 169.6 average and a 108th-place finish. 

The Patriots will return to action October 25-26 when they begin Mid-South Conference play at the MSC Greater Nashville Open in Smyrna, TN.
